A wedding is one of the most emotionally significant productions of your life. The sound of vows exchanged in a garden chapel, the clarity of a first speech, the bass of your first dance — these are moments that can never be replayed. Meyat Sound builds and operates bespoke sound and AV systems that capture every one of them perfectly.

We have executed production at some of Gauteng's most sought-after wedding venues: The Saxon Hotel Villas & Spa in Sandhurst, Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg North, Memoire in Muldersdrift, Summer Place in Hyde Park, Nutcrackers in Randvaal, The Venue at Muldersdrift, Oakfield Farm, Avianto Estate, and Silver Oaks Boutique Estate.

Our wedding production service is divided into three phase-specific systems: ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Each environment has completely different acoustic demands. A stone chapel garden requires soft, natural-sounding distributed audio. A cocktail terrace requires ambient fill coverage. A marquee or ballroom reception requires a full PA system calibrated for speech intelligibility and DJ bass extension.

For ceremonies, we deploy discreet wireless lapel microphone systems for the officiant and couple, concealed stand or lectern microphones, and carefully positioned speakers to fill the space without dominating it visually. Our engineers are experienced in managing wind noise, garden acoustics, and the echo characteristics of marquees — all common challenges at Gauteng's outdoor wedding venues.

We supply professional wireless DJ systems, custom playlist facilitation, and full microphone systems for MCs and speakers. Our reception sound systems are tuned for the room — not too loud for conversation, and powerful enough to fill the dance floor. We remain on site for the entire event, managing every technical cue from walking music to final song.

Optional enhancements include LED uplighting and wash systems to transform a venue's aesthetic, monogram gobos projected onto walls or ceilings, and high-resolution LED screens for video montages, live feeds, or table display content. We coordinate all technical elements with your wedding planner, MC, and venue coordinator to ensure a perfectly choreographed production.

Meyat Sound's wedding crew are professional, uniformed, and trained to operate invisibly. We do not eat at the event, we do not socialise with guests — we are there entirely to protect your production and your day.
